Welcome To The Riverside Forest Walk
The BC interior Forestry Museum has developed easy walking trails to encourage low impact exercise for all age groups. While walking through the forest enjoy the interpretive information and the sound of the Columbia River rolling by. For further information on the history of BC forestry please visit us at the Forestry Museum at the top of the Highlead Trail. The museum is open May till October; however, the forest is open year round.
Do not walk in the forest during storms or in high wind.
The Columbia River has fast currents with steep cliff banks. Be careful when walking close to the edge.
